Lyndall is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and operates “Optimal Movement – Exercise Physiology Services”. Lyndall completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Movement in 2002, a Graduate Diploma of Exercise Rehabilitation in 2003 and a Master of Exercise Rehabilitation in 2007. She has a range of experience working with orthopaedic, cardio-respiratory and neurological clients with a passion in chronic disease management. • Exercise Physiologists provide professional services in the area of exercise and physical activity.
• Exercise Physiologists are tertiary qualified health scientists, specialising in health, fitness, and the use of physical activity and exercise for rehabilitation and chronic disease.
• An Exercise Physiologist can conduct fitness assessments and specialised exercise programs for a variety of fitness levels and abilities with specialist training in exercise for people with a range of conditions and/or disabilities such as Diabetes, Cardiac/Respiratory problems, Stroke, Arthritis, balance problems, Obesity, post-operative rehab, etc.
• Exercise Physiologists use various self-management techniques to enhance behaviour change and promote healthy lifestyles.
• An Exercise Physiologist’s major goal is to enhance fitness, function and well-being.
